Meet the Co-Founders

Co-Founder Clint Nazareno

Hello! I’m Clint, and I’ve spent over a decade immersed in the commercial furniture industry, where I’ve worn many hats and learned so much along the way. My journey began as a Space Planner, driven by a passion for creating functional workspaces that help people thrive in their environments. This role opened my eyes to how spaces should work, and it was incredibly rewarding to see how thoughtful design could positively impact productivity and well-being.

As I transitioned into operations, I took on the role of Project Manager and eventually stepped up as Operations Manager. This experience was invaluable, allowing me to understand the ins and outs of delivering projects, whether it was a single chair or a complex multi-floor workstation installation. Each project taught me something new about the importance of collaboration and efficiency.

During my time in leadership meetings, I noticed a significant gap in the market: a disconnect between talented designers and firms like the one we worked for. It was during one of these meetings that my co-founder Elizabeth voiced the struggle of finding enough qualified designers. That’s when the light bulb went off for me. I had been using a talent hiring website to build my personal site, and I thought, “Why can’t we create something similar for the architecture and design community?”

After countless brainstorming sessions, Techtonica Design was born. I believe deeply in the value of having design experts consult and collaborate on spaces—especially in workplaces, where we often spend the majority of our lives. Everyone deserves access to good design, and I’m committed to making that a reality by providing a marketplace where businesses and individuals can connect with skilled designers.

At Techtonica Design, our mission is simple: to bridge the gap between qualified designers and those who need them, ensuring that everyone has access to great design that enhances their everyday lives.

Co-Founder Elizabeth Schnelker

I’m Elizabeth Schnelker, co-founder of Techtonica Design and creative professional with over a decade of experience in the design industry. My journey has always been driven by a passion for transforming spaces and connecting with people through thoughtful, innovative design.

Most of my career has been in the contract furniture space, where I’ve seen recurring challenges with design staffing that lead to overworked and ultimately unhappy teams. My experience in both production and management roles at furniture dealerships gives me a unique perspective that I bring to my role as co-founder of Techtonica Design.

At Techtonica Design, my role is to build a community where designers can thrive and businesses connect with the creative talent they need, all within a professional, supportive environment. I’m dedicated to helping designers showcase their work, broaden their reach, and connect with companies seeking contract-based partnerships. Through strong relationships and a focus on innovation, my goal is to make Techtonica Design the leading destination for design solutions.
